Are you searching for the best laptops under $500? Find the detail of the top 4 best laptops under $500 in 2021 below:

No.1 Toshiba Satellite C55-C5240 15.6-Inch Laptop:

The Toshiba Satellite laptop C55 provides amazing features such as having an 8 GB DDR3L RAM, twice bigger than other laptops found on the market,  allowing you to open several tabs at the same time and at an affordable price, (under $400) with very few complaints;

Pros:

For music fanatics, it contains a 1 TB Hard Drive, allowing you to store 320,000 photos, 16,600 hours of your favorite music, and 250 DVD movies. Do you tend to transfer files from one computer to another? It has three USB openings; one of them is for USB 3.0, ten times quicker than USB 2.0, and has Bluetooth for perimeter connections. Saving the best for last, the customer support provides you with Windows 10 for free, how cool is that!

Cons:

While it does have a DVD player, it doesn’t have a Blu-ray player and it weighs 4.85 pounds.

No.2 Dell Inspiron 11 3000 Series:

The Dell Inspiron 11 3000 Series is a convertible hybrid aiming to bridge the gap between traditional laptops and slate tablets. It comes with a 1,366-by-768 resolution, 10-point touch screen, and weighs 2.99 pounds which are smaller than lighter by a quarter-pound than HP Pavilion 11t-n000 x360.

Pros:

This good laptop contains a 2.16GHz Intel Pentium N3530 quad-core processor with Intel HD Graphics, built on the Bay Trail-M platform garnering 1,712 points on the PCMark 8 test which assesses performance while operating on office documents and web browsing. The core is higher than 1,576 points gotten by Atom-equipped Acer Aspire Switch 10.  On top of that, it has a vast array of I/O ports such as the HDMI port and SD card reader and two USB 2.0 ports, and a single 3.0 USB port

I would definitely recommend it, it’s well worth the investment, and you won’t regret it.

Cons:

The USB ports are made of the same color, therefore you need to search which one is the USB 3.0, looking for the small USB SS icon (It’s on the left side beside the HDMI port).  Also, the power button is located on the bottom right-hand side of the laptop. This is counterintuitive as most buttons are on the keyboard or the upper right side corner of the keyboard. Lastly, the laptop contains 4GB memory and a 500 GB hard drive. Consequently, the hard drive works at a slower pace than the memory or solid-state drives in slate tablets.

No.3 ASUS F555LA-AS51 Core i5:

The ASUS F555LA-AH51 15.6-Inch Intel Core i5 Laptop is designed to provide a balance between generating power and saving energy in ultra-books and tablets. It comes with an 8 GB of DDR3 memory, which is more than other laptops of this caliber, allowing you to operate Windows 8.1 to multitask applications easily.

 Pros:

The screen is 15.6 inches, 1366 x 768 generated by Intel HD Graphics 4200, thus it performs better than other HD Graphics 4000 found in older Intel processors, allowing you to perform daily computer tasks with ease. Do you like to save a lot of movies, pictures, and documents?   No problem, the laptop comes with a 1000 GB (1 TB) hard disk drive (HDD), providing enough capacity for most users’ needs.

What about transferring moving files?  The laptop comes with three USB ports including one standard USB 2.0 port, and two high-speed USB 3.0 ports. What’s more, the USB is backward compatible, meaning a 2.0 USB can work in place of a 3.0 USB taking advantage of its high-speed abilities.

Cons:

While the HD Graphics 4200 is good for day-to-day computing tasks, it won’t handle modern complicated computer games.

No.4 Lenovo Z50 Laptop Computer – 59436279:

The laptop provides power, performance, design, and multimedia laptop experience. For instance, the laptop contains an Intel Core i7-4510U processor including a 2.0GHz clock speed and solid 3.1GHz, getting almost 4000 points on the CPU Mark benchmark whereas others get a quarter of that mark.

Pros:

Are you into storing a lot of files? The laptop provides a1TB hard drive. What about resolution? It’s HD screen providing the user with more space than a basic 1366×768 resolution.  And how long does it last? Manufacturers have promised battery life of up to 5 hours.

When it comes to quality, speed should be the top priority. With a 2.0GHz clock speed and solid 3.1GHz, you can’t beat it.

Cons: In terms of graphic cards, the laptop carries a 4400 Intel HD thus making it slower than the latest HD 5000, for that matter adventure computer games or shooting one such as Battlefield 4 will get decent images based on lower settings. Also, while it does have three USB ports, only one of them is USB 3.0.
