How Do I Check My Wells Fargo Credit Card Application Status?

  1. Select View Your Application in the email sent by Wells Fargo.

  • Last 4 digits of Social Security number
  • Access Code (sent to you by email)

What If You Don’t Receive An Email From Wells Fargo?

If you didn’t receive an email from Well Fargo, you may not be eligible to check the online status for your application. If you are in such a situation, there can be two reasons. Firstly, if you don’t receive an application, you can use the username and password to check the status and in case you aren’t an Online Banking customer and still have not received the code, you are not eligible to use this service for your application.

If you are not able to check your application status, one reason can be that the information you entered to get access to your Application Status page is not correct and does not match the information that is one the Wells Fargo servers. So make sure you are using the correct information to recover the status of your application that you have entered while submitting the application. In case the information entered is correct, the chances are the online status for your application is not available.

This can also happen that you have forgotten your Access Code, here is how you can recover it:

  • Open the application status sign on page and then click on Resend Access Code.
  • Enter the email address that you used to sign in with Wells Fargo and then click on Continue.
  • You will receive the access code in the email sent by Wells Fargo.
  • After that, select the option ‘View your Application’ and enter your Access Code to access the Application Status page and check Wells Fargo credit card application status.

In case you have submitted more than one application, you will only get one access code to check all your applications. In case, you are getting more than one access code, here are the possible causes:

  • You have requested another access code.
  • If you have changed your personal information, you will get the code as a security measure.
  • You will get a new code, if your Access Code has got expired.
  • A new Access Code will be sent to you when you have a new application and you have entered a different email address that is already there on your file for other applications.

You can also get your access to saved or submitted applications disabled permanently if there were multiple attempts made to sign in using information that is not similar to the already submitted application and this is done for security reasons.   2. If you want to change your delivery options and you have selected Electronic Delivery and want to request paper copies, you can contact the representative of Wells Fargo.
  3. To update the email address, you can contact the Wells Fargo representative or navigate to Update Contact Information in the Security & Support tab after signing into Wells Fargo online.
  4. If you want to access your application status from your mobile device, you can set your preferences from your mobile for electronic delivery if you can print documents from it. After setting the preferences, you can view your application status whenever you want to.
